Tonight Sid performed the part of a Lord, in the play "MacBeth" by William Shakespeare, like a pro. You would have never known he was nervous, even though his play director had to tell him

several times,
"You will do great. No one will know if you mess up. Just keep going." He said several lines with every word..loud, distinct, and clear. Made a mom, a dad, a sister, a Grangran, a D'den, and a Gigi very proud. A rainstorm came though during the performance but we were under the big tent. It cooled things off and made for a very enjoyable evening. Meredith enjoyed her first Shakespeare Festival with lots of lovin' on and a little nap. Sid said he liked his costume. It probably had something to do with the fact that he had a sword...a bigone.
All year long Sid looks forward to this day. This day is the reward for hard work throughout the
whole year.
Keith and Quinn fried homemade french fries and grilled hamburgers on their pit. They were very tastey and not a one was left. We are so appreciative to Quinn and Wendy for always helping us with the Shakespeare Festival.

Little kids playing ball and running around. Students dressed in their costumes moving about
looking for their
props. Parents, family members, and guests are all visiting with the sounds of laughter coming from every corner. The sound of the popcorn machine in the background and the smell of homemade french fries and hamburgers brings about such a festive atmosphere. Snowcones are being had by all, which is always a nice way to cool off. Smiles are all around. Keith and I are just drawn to the family ambience that Ambleside possesses. We are truly grateful and glad to be a part of a great school.
