One Week at the Ranch

We have been home for one week. We left last Tuesday after D'den's gallbladder surgery. She is doing much better and the doctor told her not to lift anything heavy for another week.

Since being here at the ranch, we have attempted to accomplish everything all at once. Kind of like if your a kid at the playground and you have a hard time deciding what to play on first that you just run around in circles..??? just from the pure excitement of - just being there on that playground. Well, the ranch is a playground for us and we are just big and little kids enjoying every moment of it.

Keith is trying to get as much done as possible - ranch work, shipping some sheep, spraying, trimming some trees, swimming with Sid and Meredith, and various other items of business. Sid is helping with some spraying, riding his 4-wheeler, driving the Polaris "green machine", doing some exploring, a lot of swimming and getting his treehouse decked out for when friends come this summer. When cleaning his treehouse out, Sid located a real live "Charlotte". Kind of neat after reading "Charlotte's Web" in school seeing a spider and her babies.I planted more squash and cucumber seeds, cleaned out the greenhouse, sprayed brush with Keith, painted Meredith's room with her help, cleaned up around the yard, thoroughly cleaned three rooms, watered the flowers and the garden, took Meredith swimming, cleaned out Sid's treehouse, installed our new ice maker, laundry, cooking, and sat by the pool as the boys swam. We are truly enjoying the summer.
